The salmon are hitting in the south lake by the bridge and the inland sea and Malletts Bay as well. Some nice browns are in the inland sea in all areas.

The lakers are on top and on the bottom as well. Fishing suspended is working well too.

This is going to be a year of change with all the alewives in all areas of the lake. So far I've seen most all bait in the lakers to be alewives and no smelt. This just the reverse of years past so time will tell what happens. With this said we may need to try more alewives look alike baits.

2008 spring forecast is looking good for more and larger salmon and more browns as well as plenty of lakers.

There's a new downrigger release out that really works well and it's called the Chamberlain Release.  Check it out on the web at http://downriggerrelease.com/ Try some you'll like them.
